HI ALL - I'm not complaining really - I feel very lucky to have some deals to close in this slower than molasses real estate market here in Charlottesville Virginia.
I've found, though, that my closings are getting tougher and tougher. Not so much for the obvious reasons....fallout from the subprime problems and lender guideline changes. Rather, communications between lender and closing agents seem to be breaking down more often, loan processing systems seem stretched and worn out with interdepartmental mix-ups and miscommunications; maybe it is just because the general stress level in the banking industry is so high.
