Amongst all the doom and gloom of real estate news, I am happy to report that the Hardin Valley real estate market in Knoxville TN is picking up.  
The Hardin Valley area is a popular West Knoxville subarea that is located West of Karns, East of Lenoir City and Oak Ridge, and South of Farragut and Lovell Rd/Campbell Station area.  
The Hardin Valley is an attractive area to reside due to the Pellissippi Parkway that makes commuting to the Oak Rigde area (Home of Oak Ridge National Laboratory) and Interstate I-40 which runs straight through Knoxville TN a breeze.

knoxville: Changes in Single Family Knoxville, TN Foreclosures Sales 2004-2011 - 11/01/11 09:10 AM
Knoxville TN Foreclosures have been a topic that has dominated talk of the Knoxville real estate world the past couple of years.  The allure of the "good deal" is something that attracts may buyers to Knoxville foreclosures.  However, just how prevalent are foreclosure sales in the Knoxville, TN area?  According to the research I complied using only the Knoxville MLS, the Knoxville TN area saw an increase in the total % of foreclosure sales in 2008.  However, since 2008 the % of foreclosure sales vs non-foreclosure sales have remained fairly constant.
Below are tabular results of the data I complied in an easy to read chart.

Earlier this morning I was driving through Knoxville, TN and found myself thinking and I must admit stressing about a current real estate transaction when I got a case of the de-ja-vus.  Had I not just driven by this exact very spot just a few minutes ago?  Then I quickly came to realize No, it is just another one of those cookie cutter subdivisions that looked almost identical to the one 3 miles down the road.
