Where: Downtown Knoxville's Market Square
Why: $10 donations go towards supporting the Humane Society of Tennessee Valley.  Provides a great social outing for dogs and their Human owners.

While the last day of summer "officially" ends with the September equinox, where the sun rises directly in the east and sets directly in the west, for Knox County students between the ages of 5-18 the beginning of school signifies the end of the summer.
Knox County TN Schools officially open their doors to student on Monday, August 17, 2009.  Knox County Teachers have been back at work prepping for the arrival of students since Monday, August 10th.

knoxville green realtors: I just received my NAR GREEN designation- 1st in Knoxville, TN - 05/29/09 10:41 AM

As of May 26th Christine McInerney has successfully become the 1st NAR Green Certified REALTOR® in Knoxville, TN.  Christine also hold the EcoBroker® Certification as well (only 6 in Knoxville, TN).  Jennifer has successfully taken and passed the NAR GREEN Core course and just has to complete the elective course and submit her application to the NAR Green Resource Council.
Both Jennifer and I have a strong interest in conserving the environment and thanks to the Green practices finally merging with the real estate market have the opportunity to mix our two loves of Environmental Science and Real Estate.
