According to the National Association of REALTORS®, Median Sales Price of Existing Single-Family Homes for Metropolitan Area Report, the median home sales price in Knoxville, TN in 2011 is $142,900 which is down from $149,100 back in 2008.

As our year of 2008 is coming to an end, let's take a look at the Knoxville Real Estate Market.  According to the media, NOTHING is selling and if it is Sellers are having to practically give away their homes or even worse pay someone to take their homes off their hands.  But wait, perhaps you can think of someone that did actually sell their home this past year- there were 4794 single family residence homes that sold and 987 Condos/PUDs (Planned Unit Developments) that sold during 2008.
