According to the National Association of REALTORS®, Median Sales Price of Existing Single-Family Homes for Metropolitan Area Report, the median home sales price in Knoxville, TN in 2011 is $142,900 which is down from $149,100 back in 2008.
With interest rates at an all time low and still fluctuating around 4% there has not been a better time to buy in the Knoxville, TN area. Competition is stiff and a decreased number of buyers has forced Sellers that are serious about selling to get their homes in top notch showing conditions.
