The other day I attended a Green Building Design class and the instructor brought up a great point.  He asked for a show of hands to tell him how much a gallon of gas cost....most everyone raised their hand and knew the answer. 
Then he asked how much we pay for a KWh of energy- hardly anyone raised their hand.
In East TN we are lucky to have relatively low energy costs- just about $.084 /Kwh.  Other areas are not so lucky.  He posed an interesting correlation, "is the green movement in East TN not that big because the energy costs are … (5 comments)
