Can you smell it…the sweet scent of funnel cakes frying? Can you hear it…the beat of the bands?  Can you see it…the sunlit sequins strutting down the street?  Can you feel it…that childlike feeling that only a parade can bring?  Today was a perfect day for the Mooresville St. Patrick’s Day Parade!  A bright Carolina blue sky was the backdrop for the fun and festivities.  Crowds lined the streets in front of vintage storefronts as they have for many years.

FUNDING FEE UPDATES
Pending Congressional action H.R. 674 has passed the Senate, and is under consideration in the House of Representatives.  This legislation would keep funding fees at their pesent levels through 2016.  VA expects the House of Representatives will pass this bill, and that it wll be sent to the President for signature week of November 15th.
If H.R. 674 is not signed by November 18th, funding fees will decrease as scheduled for a short period of time.  Lenders who disclosed higher funding fees on closing documents based on anticpation of Congressional action, will have to refund the difference to … (0 comments)
