I have a lead generating service. Yesterday I got a call from an older lady. She was excited. She had just sold her home and was calling on a mobile home on a rented lot. That particular one was pending. She did not know about lot rent. I found out she did not have the money for a mortgage (although I might have her look into it). She has until April 1 to move. That was depressing.... I went to see a manufactured home on a rented lot. It was in pretty bad shape. The lady who owns it just had a heart attack on November 2. Her hospital bill is over $84K and I am sure that doesn't include the doctor bills. She has applied for medicaid. Usually they will lean your asset. The home is for $30,000. Well it happened. My business partner got a listing for a mobile home on a rented lot.... Not my favorite animal to sell... I had to do a lot of homework to find someone who would finance this place. I also needed to coordinate with the park. I found the lender by calling all my loan officers and one person knew of a lender. THe problem is that they kept disqualifying the buyers second job.... The last story for my state representative This one happened in 2011.... Judith and Sam, Judith and Sam are friends of mine. I was at their wedding. Their story is a little different They only had one mortgage and it was for a mobile home on a rented lot.
