I'm not to sure about the title of this blog.  It is really funny depending of the frame of mind one is in, but I'm really starting to see a that many a realtor is following trends like sheep.  Months ago realtor were all becoming short sale specialist, and many actually gave up what they had been doing to follow that pursuit in a full time capacity.  Taking on other agents duties for a portion on the commission.  Now everyone wants to be involved with REO's, becausee for the most part that is what everyone is seeing sells.  My hope is that many that are getting in to both of these areas leave the breadcrumb trail that will allow them to remember how to lead generate, prospect and market for leads.  I'm would love to have a couple of bank owned homes, but so far I have not forgotten the rest of what fills my pipeline.

Good luck to all REO agents that are in it for the ride, because that to WILL COME to and END! I guess in short it means don't forget where you came from and what got you there.

David Baker (Re/Max New Heights Realty)
