The residents knew it was a great place to live, but now the rest of the country knows it as well! 77 working farms, Neighborhood shopping, plenty of restaurants, tons of activities, constant town improvement, great schools, friendly people (yes, it's really all about the people)- Come to think of it, we DO deserve to get this well-earned rating. Interesting to note on a personal level - when my sister comes into town from LA, she always refers to Warren as "pleasantville". When we first moved here 15 years ago, we built a home here in Warren that was convenient to my husband's work in Maplewood. Just 1 week before closing, he changed jobs and ended up in Wayne. My husband has chosen to commute 50 min each way just so he can come back to his "home" in Warren. We considered relocating, but there just were no other options - Warren was indeed "pleasantville" and this was where home was. I am a real estate agent with Keller Williams, and take great pride in giving buyers the opportunity to relocate to Warren. Up until now, it has been known as the "sleepy town" - when giving directions, we used to say "near Watchung" or "near Basking Ridge" - Well no more! Warren has finally made it on the map!!
