Before I moved to Nashville I had never before tried sushi. For one, we didn't have a sushi place where I came from. For another, the idea of putting raw fish into my mouth was anything but appetizing. However, some friends of mine, who were frequent visitors to a trendy little place downtown called Virago, invited me to try it out. If you like to eat, and if you like visiting well kept little "secrets" that are off the beaten path, then there is no doubt you will LOVE the Loveless. The Loveless Cafe was opened in 1951 by Lon and Annie Loveless when they started serving their well known fried chicken and homemade biscuits right out of the front door to travelers on US Highway 100.
