homeownership: Giving A Good First Impression on that Short Sale property For Sale - 03/13/10 11:22 AM

After showing a few short sales and bank owned homes and comparing the two, I've realized that they are running neck in neck on the type of condition that they are in. Being an agent in this market, I have developed a certain empathy and understanding for the situation that distressed homeowners are in.  Common Interest Development (CID) allows homeowners the use of common property and facilities and provide for a system of self-governance through an association of the homeowners within the CID. Title Companies act as an intermediary between buyers and sellers, or their agents, and ensure that everything in the transaction goes according to the sales contract. This offers protection to all … (0 comments)

homeownership: Path To Homeownership: Making The Offer - 12/28/07 05:13 PM
In a previous article I wrote, Path to Homeownership: House Hunting I described how to inspect a house using your 5 senses. While house hunting, it is a good idea to write down notes on what you have seen. Write down the good, the bad, and the ugly. Throughout the day, you may have looked at several houses, so it is a good idea to have a checklist for each home you visited. At the end of the day, if you have determined which home is of interest to you, look at your notes. Revisit your budget. Determine the most you … (4 comments)
