Pay it Forward to those Who Need! - 11/26/10 01:31 PM
Pay it Forward to those Who Need! The world is so full of many ways to Pay it Forward in our daily lives. We pay it forward to our next generation by recycling....... We pay it forward to those in line behind us at Costco when we let them go ahead with their one or two items...... We pay it forward by letting someone go ahead of us when waiting in line at a stop sign..... How about the simple opening of a door for someone with a smile? Most of us try at Holiday time to pay it forward (20 comments)
Real Estate Professionals With Chronic Illness - 11/25/10 09:25 AM
This is such a great post in support of those who work and laugh and help right through all of their most difficult days! So many here have things quietly going on in their lives that they never speak about - just go about their business..... Let's hope this will be a small outlet for those in need of knowledge that there are others around who support them every day in their endeavors! Via Mike Jones (SUNSTREET MORTGAGE, LLC): Who do you know who struggles with chronic illness? Maybe it's you, (or as it is with me, your spouse.) In any case, it's (2 comments)
Sunrise in Fairfield County, CT - 11/24/10 10:23 PM
Sunrise in Fairfield County, CT It was simply gorgeous today, driving along Route 95 from Wilton to Fairfield at 6:45 am. I had to take out my camera and get some shots in .....
But then, it was just so beautiful that I had to drive down to the beach to look, and barely made the meeting on time! I got into the car, but had to get out to make sure that I had kept the camera still enough for clear photos. The last time we had had great photo opportunities at 7 am was when the fog was (16 comments)
Are You Posting to YouTube Yet? - 11/20/10 09:12 AM
We all should be posting our videos, on You Tube, our web sites, on AR, etc. It's such an informative way to spread the information! Via Ginny L Gorman North Kingstown RI Expert (401)529.7849 www.RIHouseHunt.com (Phillips Post Road Realty): Are You posting to YouTube yet? Of course you are right?...but what else are you doing with your YouTube videos? - Are you embedding them here on ActiveRain...and if not why not? Buyers and sellers like to see their neighborhoods, towns or local events as it relates to their home or neighborhood. - Are you categorizing your YouTube videos properly with titles and locations (12 comments)
Pay it Forward with Teaching in Norwalk and Wilton CT - 11/19/10 11:13 PM
Pay it Forward with Teaching in Norwalk and Wilton CT Teaching has always been a love of mine, even though I never got a teaching degree. I have always enjoyed teaching, whether it be the young or the old, or anyone in between. Teaching is the oldest method of paying it forward. We were taught as youth, and then we teach the youth. I started, and then ran for 20 years, a 'Mom's Day Out Program,' called "Dagny's Kiddie - Care" for the littlest ones in Wilton CT. I found that I, and my teachers, taught the parents as much about (17 comments)
QR Codes in a Flash! at 1 Wilton Crest, Wilton, CT 06897 - 11/19/10 10:33 PM
QR Codes in a Flash! at 1 Wilton Crest, Wilton, CT 06897 Mike Jaquish, of Cary, NC just taught me how to do the QR code for 1 Wilton Crest in Wilton CT 06897! His blog post made it so simple - he took a video of his phone doing the entire process, and it was so easy. Just go to QRStuff.com, go to Google Maps Location (on the left side), then type in the address you are interested in, and hit "GO."
That will bring up a QR Code which you can download and use anywhere (6 comments)
Pay it Forward with Balloons! - 11/15/10 08:27 AM
Pay it Forward with Balloons! Open Houses - Do you use balloons to call attention to your signs? When you use balloons, they wave at folks as they drive by - calling out, "Come look at my sign, and follow me!" My balloons in Wilton CT are always effectively blowing in the breeze ..... Do you use balloons to hand to the kids as they come in the door? Kids love nothing more to be the center of attention before their parents, and .... the parents never mind it when you go straight to the kids! A balloon gives the kids (19 comments)

You Have Got to Be Kidding! Agents Function This Way? - 11/07/10 08:45 PM
You Have Got to Be Kidding! Agents Function This Way? I received an offer from an agent the other day on a listing of mine. A very nice agent, I must add. The agent gave me the paperwork all filled out by hand, which is fine, but then told me that since this was a Friday afternoon, and late in the afternoon, to please leave a voicemail at the office, and it would be picked up on Monday morning. I asked what the cell number was, and I would communicate as soon as I spoke with my clients. The answer was (81 comments)
It's a cloudy day here in Wilton, CT, but I needed to take this video for a client. I thought just now that it would be nice to share it with anyone who might find it interesting, or need to see the drive down River Road through the center of Wilton.
We have shops galore, some are small business owners and some are chains, movie house, coffee houses, markets, liquor stores, fitness studios, restaurants, hardware store, post office, etc. There seems to be something for everyone, and River Road is also a (6 comments)
