Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone! - 11/23/11 11:37 PM
Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone! I love this holiday, as it is one with a lot of meaning and love. It is not commercial, except for the poor turkeys.... Maybe next year we'll make it vegetarian for their sake. All kidding aside, it is a good time to reflect on family, friends, relationships and to be thankful for a ll of the little things we have. It is a time to give to those in need, and help others. I love the time we take to be with our loved ones, and if we cannot be near, at least everyone takes time to (13 comments)

Working Hard on a Driveway! - 11/12/11 07:20 PM
Working Hard on a Driveway! I came across this today, and thought it would be nice to share for those of you who are tired of contracts and leases. I certainly get a HUGE kick out of watching others work harder than I, and thought it might be as mesmerizing for you as it was for me. I used to LOVE to take my son to see the firetrucks or trains or bulldozers. What's up with that? I love backhoes, shovel loaders, etc.... Enjoy! The fellow who is in charge of this awesome driveway work is Billy Walsh - if you (12 comments)

Do You Want To Be A Rich Agent or a Poor Agent? - 11/10/11 09:03 PM
This is an amazing compilation of facts, figures, attitudes, etc. about the real estate industry. I hope you take the time to read all about this - Active Rain took a great deal of effort to really dig for the facts here. Enjoy! Rich Real Estate Agent, Poor Real Estate Agent What separates Rich Real Estate Agents from Poor Real Estate Agents? Are men better real estate agents than women? Does age or experience matter? Do top real estate agents use Trulia or Zillow? Or Realtor.com? Or Homes.com? Does FaceBook sell houses? (Click for high resolution image) Embed this (7 comments)

We have to date been using PC Access and Explorer, and more recently, Paragon. Apparently, Matrix (10 comments)
My son's wife's step dad just passed away. He (let's call him Dan) battled lung cancer (never smoked) and pulmonary fibrosis for about eight years. It was a valiant battle, with treatments, and doctors and lung transplants. What a brave man and super supportive absolutely wonderful family. No matter how Dan felt, he always had a positive outlook on everything and everyone around him. He was a gentle and kind and super bright man. To his last day, he was trying to help those around him, and had a sense of (16 comments)

One Finds The Most Amazing Things at Inspections! - 11/02/11 11:18 PM
One Finds The Most Amazing Things at Inspections! During an inspection today of a home we came across a few unusual items that I have not seen in a lot of years!!! This home was an estate sale, where the owner was the original owner, and built the home himself. Really quality workmanship! The home was in need of some updating, but in nice shape. Our surprise was when we ventured down into the basement and discovered some new items. The inspector, John Openheimer, said, "Holy mackeral! This fellow was a cobbler!" I was upstairs - ran down to the (17 comments)
