Hurricane Sandy certainly blew our tree up in the front of our home. At first on Monday, October 29th, the back limb crashed across all of our beautiful landscaping in the circle of our driveway. Twenty years of moving things around and planting little "babies" to grow to adulthood plants and shrubs - wiped out in one fell blow. A very strong hurricane blow, mind you!!! Let it Rain Brownies in Wilton CT! We had quite a turnout here in Wilton, CT in spite of the rain and flooded out roads..... almost everyone was able to come. I think we had 4 people that couldn't come at the last minute, but had some great surprises along the way, too! We ended up with 26 here at my house. Jennifer Fivesdal was a complete surprise to me, and brought her famous treat of brownies made the "Jennifer Way." Everyone made comments when tasting... like.... "What is in these? The winds have lessened now to only 50+ miles per hour. There are trees down all over Wilton, closing the streets, and making it difficult to get around.
