Battle of the Rocks- Norwalk CT - Revolutionay War- Cannonball Along the road in Norwalk, CT on Hillside Street, there is a small shrine to this battle that took place during the Revolutionary War. It appears that either the town or the neighborhood takes care of it, and plants flowers every year.
This cannonball was found as it is today, embedded in the rock. Wow!
Except for my footprints, it was undisturbed since the last snow.
