Fun Home Staging tip! - 07/15/08 03:21 PM
I saw this the other day and thought it was smart - when staging a home for sale, put a large mirror in the front entry way. As the potential buyer comes in, they will already "see" themselves in their new home! Same with when they leave, reinforcing themselves in the home.
I will plan to do that from now on- anyone tried it already?

I got some great news today- The home I staged 3 weeks ago just sold after being on the market since September! Priced at $550,000, the house is in a beautiful neighborhood but had not had any offers. Before reducing the price, the realtor offered to pay for a few hours of home staging and called me. Although there had been alot of showings, some of the comments from buyers were that the house was "dated" and "would need alot of work". I spent a day with the homeowner de-cluttering, simplifying, and re-arranging to create an enviroment that would be appealing … (5 comments)
