Speechless Sundays: Stunning! - 09/25/11 11:58 AM

My mom and step dad are in town this weekend and my step sister came up for a visit.  We decided to bring out the cameras yesterday and take some photos and this just happens to be one Jessica (my step sis) took of my 12 year old daughter Makenzie.  I absolutely LOVE this photo of her so had to share it.
I think this one quaifies for a wall hanging photo!

I am so very thankful for days like this!

 

My husband was able to come home from Hawaii last month for a visit.  While here, my son and I decided to take him to a place we had found a few weeks before.  These were taken at the waterfalls in Eatonville, WA and they are beautiful.  I was able to get these shots of the two of them together and I just love when we get to spend time together like this.

Tastefully Tuesday: Caramel Corn Crunch! - 09/20/11 01:10 PM
Here is a recipe for Caramel Corn Crunch!
Yield: 3 quarts
Ingredients:1/2 cup butter1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed3 quarts popped popcorn
Directions:1. Cream butter; add brown sugar andwhip until fluffy. In a large bowl, combinepopcorn and butter mixture.2. Spread popcorn in a large baking pan.3. Bake in 350-degree oven for about 8minutes or until crisp.4. Serve warm if desired.

Can you believe that Summer ends and Fall begins on Friday September 23rd?  I sure can't.  This has to have been one of the shortest Summers I can ever remember here in Washington.
Anyways here are some things to look forward to come October.
