Tuesday night I received a phone call from my mom that I was not prepared to get. “Christa your brother has been in some kind of accident and he is being transported to the hospital in an ambulance”. She didn’t know what hospital so I told her I would make some calls to see where they were taking him. Please keep in mind my mom lives in Arizona so it’s not like she can just hop in her car and drive to the nearest hospital. Woke up yesterday morning to our first snowfall of 2012. We were wondering if it was really going to happen or if the weatherman was going to be wrong yet again. Well me being me I couldn't pass up a photo op in the dark in the snow so I had my daughter Makenzie come out and play :) I took this photo of her and messed around with the brightness and contrast setting in Paint Shop Pro and just LOVE how it turned out...so much so that I had to share! Do you believe in superstitions? I don’t. Never really have. I don’t believe that If you come across a black cat on Friday the 13th that means you will have bad luck or if you walk under a ladder you’ve got 7 years of bad luck or even if you break a mirror you will have bad luck.
Is it so bad that I don’t believe in superstitions? I don’t think so.

FHA has announced an extension of its temporary waiver of regulations prohibiting insuring a mortgage on a home owned by the seller for less than 90 days. The new extension will permit buyers to continue to use FHA-insured financing to purchase HUD-owned properties, bank-owned properties, or properties resold through private sales. The extension is effective through December 31, 2012, unless otherwise extended or withdrawn by FHA. All other terms of the existing waiver will remain the same.
