A couple years ago my daughter and I got into wild Mustangs. We decided to adopt a yearling and through the process fell in love with this breed. I was not able to help our local Mustang organization in a way I wanted to so two years ago I thought why not make jewelry and sell it and have a percent of the proceeds go to Mustang U! Well last year my daughter bought a purse and while looking at this purse I got this crazy idea about selling those as well and belts, hats and wallets. So I started my (1 comments)
Here is today's Motivational Quote! "We all take many different paths to reach the top of the mountain. Every journey is as unique as the person taking it. So when you reach the peak of succss and are enjoying the glorious view, don't forget about those that have helped you along the way for you may meet them again on the way down!"-John Hawks How true is this! This would have to be one of my favorite quotes I just wish some people would choose to do as it says. It's much easier to thank those that help along the (2 comments)
We've had a very very very wet and cold winter, spring here in WA state. I wasn't sure if my flowers were ever going to bloom this year but today it's sunny out and I was able to get this great shot of my iris's bloomed. They've all either got buds or are blooming and it only took one warm day without rain. Loved this photo so I just had to share! (8 comments)

April 26th, 2009 my daughter and I drove north to Arlington, Washington to see which yearling Mustang had been chosen for her to participate in the 2009 Youth and Yearling Program. When we got to our final destination what we found were pens set up with adult and yearling mustangs sorted in each by age and sex.
We found the yearling side and seen that we were blessed to have been giving a colt. Our little man was only 11 months old at the time of pick up. We waited our turn for loading, back our trailer to the schute (10 comments)
christa hobart: Is There a Sex Offender in YOUR Neighborhood?
- 03/28/11 02:03 PM
I am currently working with buyers that have two young children. We have been looking for a home for months now and one of the things that she always seems to mention to me when we meet is how many sex offenders she has found that are in that particular neighborhood. I never really put much thought into looking at the sex offender registry before showing a home to a family with children but believe this is something that I just might start doing. There are a few different websites for everyone to view such as the Dru Sjodin National Sex Offender Public (7 comments)

Today my mom and I spent our morning at our local food bank, the Puyallup Food Bank! I have never done anything like this, volunteering my time to bag oatmeal for families that can not afford to purchase their own or fill boxes with potatoes to help make meals for those that can not provide for their families right now. We even bagged feminine products just because it's needed. It really did feel good to spend the day doing something that I know will help others in these hard times but it really made me realize just how THANKFUL I am. Between (11 comments)
April showers brings May flowers but it can also bring much more like leaky basements, moldy walls and costly cleanup! Remember regular maintenance on the outside of your home can save you thousands of dollars. Here are a few steps you can take to make sure your home is good condition come Spring! Make sure your gutters are clean and stable. Examine fascia and soffit boards, if they are worn and rotten replace them before this causes water damage inside your attic area. Make sure the downspouts are facing AWAY from your home and the water is draining correctly and (3 comments)
