This flyer was just sent out today by our Trident Mortgage Rep. Tom Fullen who has helped many of my clients get a great deal on their mortgage rates. Tom Fullen #215-860-3237. To show you how much rates affect your bottom line here is an example of a $200,000 loan based on today's rate of 4.5% verses a rate of 5% or 5.5% Scenario #1 Loan Amount: $200,000 Interest Rate: 4.5% Principal & Interest: $1.013.37 per month

Over the weekend while our two older boys were away my wife and I decided to treat ourselves to dinner at Duck Sauce in Newtown Borough. It is hands down our favorite place to eat any time of the week. The atmosphere is fantastic. When it's just the two of us it is our romantic night out with the lights dimmed just a bit and a table for two where you forget about the rest of the world for an hour, but at the same time we've been there with the kids (definitely a kid friendly place) and then we still feel (2 comments)
Why I Chose To Live In Tapestry in Holland PA, A Bucks County Realtor Tells His Story - 09/07/10 04:30 PM
When my wife and I were expecting our second son we realized our current home wasn't going to cut it. It was a small 2 bedroom 1 bath 900 sq. ft. rowhome in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia. I'd been working in Newtown, Bucks County, where I grew up, as a Realtor for a couple of years and was ready to move back home. I didn't want to be too far from work, I wanted a home our family could grow into, I wanted a good school district, and I wanted a kid friendly neighborhood. I found all this and more (2 comments)
Is The American Dream Still Alive in Bucks County? - 09/03/10 11:42 AM
Top Reasons for Buying A Home In Bucks County I read Karl E. Case's op-ed piece in the NY Times yesterday, "A Dream Home After All". For those of you who don't follow real estate regularly Case is one half of Case & Shiller Index which is a comprehensive home price index for the US going back many years. The article discusses whether, or not the American Dream is dead, and it got me thinking what does the American Dream mean to each one of us? I'm sure it's not the same for everyone, but I do believe that owning a home (0 comments)
So We've All Heard It, Right! Real Estate Is NOT The Investment It Once Was - 09/02/10 03:01 PM
So we've all heard it, Right! Real Estate is NOT the investment it once was. Who would want to buy a home now, right? It's true that some folks should not be considering buying a new home if one of the family members have been laid off, but what about the other 90% of us? Let's look at the average sales price in Bucks County from 2001 - 2010.
It's true if you bought your home in 2005, or later you'd have a hard time selling it today, but buying a home should never be a short term investment. Heck (2 comments)
It's the best time to sell your Bucks County condo and buy the single-family home you've been dreaming about. When condos were first springing up in Newtown and the surrounding Bucks County area in the 1970's & 80's many people said condos are the first thing to lose equity and the last to gain it back, but this couldn't be further from the truth today. In Fact, in 2001 the average sales price of a condo was 59% of what single family homes in Bucks County were selling for. In 2009, that number jumped to 70%!!! That means if (0 comments)
