SHORT SALE FOLLOW-UPS - 12/21/09 11:58 AM
In the past 2 weeks, I've submitted offers on two short sale candidates in Pembroke Pines.  In both instances, my clients & I have had to wait for any reply from the list agents, long past the offer expiration dates.  Why?  I'm not sure.  Just today, I finally received one offers I submitted for my client on 12/05/09 fully executed by the seller!   Yes!  The other offer was submitted on 12/13/09 and we're still waiting for a reply.  We had been told that the list agent was sending various offers to the seller on 12/20/09 & then we'd know...well, we haven't … (2 comments)

TIGER WOODS & SUCH - 12/06/09 02:56 PM
I'm not a sports person, much less a golfer.  Nonetheless, I know who Tiger Woods is--such is the impact of extraordinary playing & marketing.  I've loosely followed his career over the years & thought him a serious, focused young man.  When he married & started a family, his solid, family man image was strengthened, in my view.  How disappointing, then, to read recently about his alleged 'indiscretions'.  It'd be nice, however unrealistic, to believe that someone can be amazingly talented, yet remain faithful to his family.  Let's hope that his best playing is yet to come & that his family remains intact.

REMINDERS FOR THE BUSINESS PLAN - 12/06/09 02:43 PM
It's that time of year again, when we measure our results against our goals.  As we prepare for the next year, here are a few good ideas to remember, or implement in our business if we haven't already:
1.  Set a realistic business Plan; number & type of listings & sales goals should be a part of the plan.
2.  Consider targeting a specific geographic real estate area or demographic, if you haven't already;
3.  Become an expert in the area or with the demographic you've selected;
4.  Keep track of your numbers;
