Increase in Existing Homes Sales - Signs of Market Stabilization - 03/26/08 03:21 AM
According to NAR Chief Economist, Lawrence Yun, the latest information on existing home sales confirms stabilizing trends.  Existing homes sales increased 2.9% in February.  With sales still down over 24% from February 2007, the market is still on the road to recovery. Regional sales changes from a month ago:

HUD Releases FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac Loan Limits - 03/06/08 05:08 PM
The new loan limits for FHA and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are now calculated at 125 percent of the HUD published median prices, with a floor of $271,050 and $417,000, respectively, not to exceed $729,750.
