listings: Differentiating IDX and 3rd Party Listing Syndication - 02/01/12 05:43 PM
I’m going to carry the current internecine real estate debate about the syndication of listings to third-party sites such as Zillow and Trulia home to your door step. If you ever have used one of these sites to search for homes, or if you know anyone who ever has done so, you absolutely must make sure you read this.

listings: Another Day, Another Listings SNAFU - 07/02/11 03:39 PM
It was a typical e-mail ... a buyer coming to town in a week, looking beyond the listings that I've sent to him through the MLS, sends me back a handful of addresses from Trulia.

All are short sales. All are under contract. All are appearing as active in Trulia. (This particular situation isn't unique to Trulia. REALTOR.com also can't distinguish between Active listings in Phoenix and those designated Active with Contingencies, meaning a contract's already been accepted by the seller albeit with contingencies atttached.)

What is particular to Trulia are these basics ...
