There was a telling moment on Mad Men two weeks ago, the kind of dialogue that should strike anyone who is in the real estate business (or any sales business, for that matter) ...
"Stop writing down what I want," said the client, "and tell me what I need."
We are the ones hired for our expertise yet on so many issues, particularly when trying to win a listing from a seller, we turn away from what we know and agree to what the client wants even if it's not productive.

I’m going to carry the current internecine real estate debate about the syndication of listings to third-party sites such as Zillow and Trulia home to your door step. If you ever have used one of these sites to search for homes, or if you know anyone who ever has done so, you absolutely must make sure you read this.
