Torrington passes Tax Freeze for Seniors - 09/13/06 05:08 AM
The City Council voted to pass the tax freeze for seniors again. This freezes the amount of city taxes you pay at its current rate, You will be exempt from future tax increase. Providing you qualify under the City guidelines. Last year the guidelines were a married couple with taxable income of less than $33,900 or a single person with income less than $27,700 could qualify for the tax freeze.
