CT doesn't have as many foreclosures as other States but we have enough. Don't be scared of foreclosures in your neighborhood or the so called experts saying that "your neighborhood values will go down". That's true but ONLY Temporarily. The appraisers only go back 6 months so the foreclosures will work their way through the market and the market value will come back just like they did in the 90's.The RTC worked and properties were foreclosued and sold then the values returned, so don't believe the pundits.

When you see an ad, a sign or an open house, you are seeing a property and seller who has representation. There is an agent looking out for the seller's best interests. Because a real estate commission is usually paid on the sale of a property, and because the cost of that commission is included in the purchase price, it makes sense that the purchaser has representation, too. We pride ourselves on explaining representation at the earliest opportunity.

It appears the Buyer's market that started last Sept. 2005 is still continuing with Buyer Incentives being offered on many homes. Some sellers are even offering 3.9% Seller Financing There are approx. 400 agents serving the Torrington Real Estate market. There are over 12,000 agents serving Northwest and Central CT.So listings have plenty of exposure with the CO-OP Multiple Listing Service
