short sale in md: Should Utilities Be Paid During Short Sale Process in Georgetown, DC? - 02/10/12 01:17 PM
Some of the pitfalls that clients and homeowners would have while negotiating for a short sale in Georgetown, DC are maintaining the utilities especially when a closing has been extended out a few weeks and utilities have been planned on being switched over to the new homeowner. A delay sometimes becomes inevitable and these delays can become costly to everyone involved in the short sale process. Appraisers are tasked to go back to the property a second or even third time and sometimes even a day before closing. If the appraiser goes out to the property being sold on short sale in Georgetown, DC and

short sale in md: PLEASE READ the Remarks :) - 07/04/10 12:36 PM
As an agent that sells many REO and short sale properties in VA, MD, and DC I am amazed at how seldom agents read the instructions in the MLS. Now do not get me wrong. I understand how frustrating that it can be working for a buyer when you are writing an offer on an REO property. I myself have been frustrated on numerous times by unresponsive (or even unkind) REO listing agents while representing my buyers. That being said, I only get frustrated when the listing agent has no system or instructions on how to connect with them for information

Where we are Now Short sales and REOs have increased in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC. In many areas people are finding themselves upside down on their mortgages. Some have done a short sale, while others have simply stopped paying their mortgage and have walked away. For those that bail, they will face a foreclosure. Of course ALL share in the responsibility. short sale in md: What has changed with short sales? - 04/22/10 11:25 PM
When Traci and I started to do short sales in Virginia, short sales in Maryland and short sales in Washington DC several years ago, the banks had no systems in place to process the short sales. It did not appear that they were ready for the onslaught of short sales that was to hit them. The loss mitigators were overworked, underpaid, and undertrained. During 2009 we noticed that the major banks developed internal processes to process short sales, but that they were not unified. The negotiators were receiving better training, but were still overworked and underpaid. I am excited that in 2010,
