The signs are everywhere: daffodils in bloom, early flowering trees spreading their white and pink canopies. Soon, Cherry Blossoms will be popping open all over the Washington DC region. Throngs of sightseers and tourists will be elbowing their way around the Tidal Basin. While the Tidal Basin remains a gorgeous and historic setting for seeing the blossoms, there are alternatives that come with less traffic.
