Our photographer took some outstanding shots of this home. These photographs provide a great example of how high quality, professional photos can benefit a luxury listing. In today's extremely competitive environment, every luxury listing needs to create a strong on-line image and arouse the buyer's curiosity. Professional photos and professionally narrated, high-def video offer two great ways to command the buyer's attention. Both help to expose the personality and character of the home - prompting the buyer to seek … (0 comments)

photos: Real estate photos that sell - 12/12/10 12:27 AM
The number one reason home buyers go online is to view listing photos. This means staging and high quality photos are a must for every listing. Here are some photos from some of our recent listings. Note how every room was professionally staged before our professional photographer took the photos.

photos: Many agents are investing less in their listings - 09/29/10 12:25 AM
I recently chatted with a professional photographer who creates photos, narrated video tours, and 180 degree panoramic views for real estate agents and their listings. We use him to create all of the visual media for our listings because the quality of his work can't be touched in our market. Our clients' listings look fantastic online. Plus all of our clients' videos are syndicated across a number of different platforms, boosting the exposure our listings receive on the internet.
I asked our professional photographer what he's seeing in the market right now. Are agents investing more in visual media compared to a year ago? The … (0 comments)

photos: Why we use Whirligig Online Marketing - 08/19/10 01:53 AM
Whirligig Online Marketing produces all of the photos, panoramic tours and video tours that we use in our marketing media. Why do we use Whirligig? Because hands down Whirligig produces the best visual marketing available in our market.
For example, let's take a look at our new Fitchburg home for sale.
Here is a picture of the kitchen from a previous listing:

And here is a picture of the same kitchen from our new listing:

Both pictures were taken on sunny days, but the second picture clearly presents a better online image than the first. On top … (1 comments)

photos: The power of internet search - 04/25/10 12:40 AM
We are off to a great start this year with well over $5M in properties that are closed or scheduled to close in the next few weeks. One of the big reasons why is the quality and the quantity of the content that we distribute throughout the internet.
We've mentioned the importance of professional staging, professional photos, and professional panoramic and video tours. Once we have these key elements in place, we blast our content throughout the internet so buyers using internet search engines like Google, Yahoo! and Bing can easily find our listings. We do this through video syndication and blogging, and … (5 comments)

We've covered the importance of high quality photos.
Here are some photos from our new listing at 8202 Fortier Rd in the Town of Arena. This is a fantastic countryside retreat, which looks as good online as it does in person.

photos: Where's Fido? - 04/20/10 11:08 PM
Our clients just bought this property. It ended up being the perfect fit for them. You wouldn't know it by the pictures, but this is a great 3 bedroom home, in immaculate condition, with plenty of sunlight pouring in.
I remember taking our clients to this property for the first time, and we were all pleasantly surprised by what we saw. We almost never made it to this home due to its online appearance, but our clients decided to give it a shot anyway. To a certain extent it was luck that brought our buyers and the sellers together.

photos: Does your listing look great online and in person? - 10/05/09 11:42 PM
Over ninety percent of home buyers use the internet to find their home. And in many cases it's the online photos that either help a home "make the cut" or "get cut" from a buyer's list.
That's why we hire an interior designer to assist all of our clients with the staging of their home. Then we bring in a professional photographer to take the photos and create the virtual tour that will be posted to the internet.
Take a look at the three homes below. All of these homes look great in person, but just as important they look great online, too.
