Lakes dot the landscape. It is picture perfect.
But trouble is brewing.
Shadow Creek home values, homeowners say are over inflated. Way too high they say making the Brazoria County taxes they pay some of the highest in the area.
"They've got mine appraised at over $305,000, which was like a 13-percent plus percent increase over last year," complained homeowner Michael Banyai "I couldn't put it on the market for that much money today."

The Atlantic Hurricane season is around the corner. It starts on June 1st through November 30th. In order to ensure an orderly evacuation of the Galveston-Houston area in the event a major hurricane approach, authorities in Galveston, Brazoria and Harris counties included the City of Houston have established a "zip code evacuation plan" for the upcoming 2007 Hurricane Season.
