Dear Representative Olson,
As both your constituent and as one of more than one million members of the National Association of REALTORS, I remain steadfast in my belief that economic recovery depends in large measure on recovery in the housing market. That recovery is by no means complete and, in fact, the market is still quite weak.

It appears that, at least for a period of time, you and I may be in the same business, finding the perfect qualified buyer and selling a beautiful home.

During this time, I've gained a tremendous insight into the process of selling real estate. Now, I'd like to share some of this knowledge with you to assist you … (0 comments)

AUSTIN, Texas, March 21, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Texas Association of Realtors (TAR) today acknowledged leaders throughout the Texas Capitol for advancing a measure that would protect homeowners from hidden fees when buying and selling a home.

Is the AT&T - T-Mobile Deal a Good Deal for T-Mobile Customers? - 03/22/11 09:02 AM

Is the AT&T - T-Mobile deal a good deal for T-Mobile customers? I say NO.  Just look at the data plans for a start... T-Mobile is only $30.00 a month for 4G unlimited data which includes the “HOTSPOT”  AT&T same plan cost $45 per month (this gives you 4GB in total, combining both your smartphone data plan for $25 and the tethering feature, $20). And from what I understand, this is NOT an unlimited plan.  I say it will raise every T-Mobile customers bill and they will be going from GREAT customer service to a non existent customer service. Here, part of the e-mail that AT&T has sent out to jailbreakers, which says, basically, "sign up for our $540/year tethering plan or we'll sign you up for it ourselves:"

Daylight Savings Time - Is It a Waist of Time & Money? - 03/08/11 09:57 AM
Tell me again why we do “Daylight Savings Time”. Really don’t understand... Everything I read shows it does not save any energy. Even Wikipedia tells us “Several studies have suggested that DST increases motor fuel consumption.[7] The 2008 DOE report found no significant increase in motor gasoline consumption due to the 2007 U.S. extension of DST.[50]”.
So why do we still do this? I have looked at over 20 sites on the web and looked at many studies and ALL of them say the same thing. That is does not save anything and it possibly uses more energy than not … (3 comments)
