Flipping through the channels, I stopped on TLC (The Learning Channel), where one of the thousand or so house shows, MOVING UP I believe is the name, was on. A young lady who had just bought a home was walking through the home with her friend. There were many holes, rat traps, rat feces, dead bugs, etc.... The friend asked her if she had done a preclosing inspection and she said "No, because my REALTOR told me to skip the inspection and sign the papers as soon as I could if I really wanted the house."      We all know that getting the listing is our lifeblood. Without them we obviously would not be able to sustain our careers. However, when you compromise your integrity and go so far as to buy a listing, you are not doing you or your client any favors.
     My first experience with this happened recently while trying to list a home in a nice quiet neighborhood on Amelia Island.
