My office manager's computer recently crashed, we came out OK, but she had to re-enter the last 30 days of billing.  From this experience I have come away a wiser man, you have to back your computers up!

I now can sleep at night without the worry that a computer theft, massive electrical surge, hard drive failure or freak asteroid strike will sever me forever from my precious data again.  The automatic backups work great.  I log onto my computer in the morning and there is a little screen that says Mozy just backed up my system and all is well in the world.

There are programs available that make backing up your computer on site easier, but you still have to store the disks and go through the physical effort.  Face it, most of us are a bit lazy.  Take the easy road and check out Mozy, I know you will not regret it.
