Brockton (MA) vs. Bridgewater-Raynham on Turkey Day - 10/21/10 10:19 PM
At 10 AM at Marciano Stadium on Thanksgiving morning the Boxers of Brockton High School will host the Trojans of Bridgewater-Raynham. Both schools are perenial football powers of Eastern Massachusetts Division I. While the Boxers have been there forever, B-R has elevated its program in recent years. Both schools play bruising schedules and the Turkey Day clash often determines which team will advance to the Super Bowl tounament. To the fans the game is more of an event. Brockton Boxers, More than just Division 1 Football - 10/12/10 10:14 PM
The Brockton High School football team is a perennial powerhouse in Massachusetts. They compete in a three team league and are thus relegated to playing a mostly independent schedule. The Boxers will play any team and often have to travel out of state to fill their schedule. For a mere $5 a ticket it is a great way to get a bang for your buck. What makes it more special, however, is the atmosphere that surrounds the game.
