I have voiced my opinion so much on the BCS, I finally thought that it was time to do more than write about it. So, this morning, on SportsFanatic, I did just that. college football: Miami Bound - The BCS Hunt - Week 5 - 10/01/08 05:12 PM
Week 5 was filled with upsets upon upsets. With that said, none of them were as devastating as the number 1 ranked USC Trojans, the number 3 ranked UGA Bulldogs, and the number 4 ranked UF Gators all suffered. These three loses series hurts any of their chances of going to the BCS Championship. However, they are not completely out. This weeks layout is going to look a little different. I will address the old rankings and their loses. I will not be addressing their games for next week.

Week 4 saw the two top teams in all of the nation sit by idly as most of the college football nation played their hearts out. It seems as the AP and the USA today polls still can not get on the same page as their number 5 ranking is different. As stated in my first post, I will be going off the USA Today poll. Week 3 in the BCS Championship hunt saw some movement as Oklahoma jumped Georgia to take over the #2 spot. Gone are the Ohio State Buckeyes as the #1 Ranked USC Trojans strengthened their bid for another National Championship. With all the new changes, we could have easily named this the BCS Shuffle instead of the BCS Hunt.

For all you Florida State University Seminole fans that are out there, I am sure that you breathed a huge sigh of relief on Saturday. At least for now, we do not seem to have the issues that we had at quarterback. For the last several years it seems that no one can run the Noles offense. If you are not ready for professional football yet, you have less than 1 hour to get there. And if you are not already ready, I do not think that you will get there. college football: Georgia Bulldogs Focused On Goal - 09/06/08 09:37 AM
The Bulldogs set two goals for themselves as they came into the season ranks #1 in the nation. The first goal was to win their conference; the SEC. The second goal is to march into Miami for the BCS Championship and left their crowned the NCAA BCS Champions. Last week, they started that march. What was disappointing is the fact that since Georgia did not run the score up on GSU, they got knocked to number two in the polls. Hopefully, we can change that today. Rich Dansereau wrote a post on Tuesday detailing the opening college games. I thought that it was a great post on the NCAA Division one conferences. Tonight will be a big night in a lot of cities, so I hope that you are prepared to catch your team. With that said, tomorrow is National Color Day. This is the one day that all are suppose to come together in represtation of the schools colors. So, when you are getting ready for work tomorrow, just remember that you need to wear your college's colors. I know I will.

Oklahoma University Sooner's has its hands full trying to up-seed the number 1 BCS Missouri University Tigers tonight at 8 pm EST on ABC. The tigers were impressive with a win over #2 Kansas a week ago. With that said, OU handed Oklahoma State a butt whipping last week also with a 49-17 victory.
I think that anyone that thinks this will be a cake walk for the tigers needs to wake up. Your team is in for a dog fight all night is my belief.
I predict that OU walks out on top 27 to 24 victors.

Who is going to the BCS National Championship Game on January 7, 2008 you ask? Well, we know that it will be the BCS No. 1 vs. BCS No. 2, but the question remains who will that be. After a week of upsets and teams taking other teams to lightly, lets take a look at the top ten and how they performed.
