tribute: Local Baseball and what it means to our community - Baseball Talk 101 Contest - 03/11/08 03:15 PM
Atlanta and the greater metro area is blessed to have the Atlanta Braves. The Braves organization brings a lot to the community and to Metro Atlanta as a whole. Besides the ability to see a major league games, meet stars, get autographs, and spend a day at the park, you have to step back and take a look at what these people do for the community.
First and foremost, having a team like the Braves is an attraction to the area. An attraction that not only brings in revenue from visitors, but potential homeowners. Baseball fans come into our fair region … (6 comments)

tribute: Three times a Lady - 01/29/08 05:04 PM
Blogging is not all about yourself. I have learned this from being on here. So, I am doing this for the three ladies in my life. Now, do not get me wrong, I am not a player. These three ladies are Realtors and they cover a vast area of the Greater Atlanta market. I know no other way to write about these ladies in any order other that the way I met them. Back in the 80's, I had a summer job working down at the local Golf Driving Range. Now, during the day, in Small Town, USA, you do not get a lot of business, but, nonetheless, they still wanted it opened till late evenings. So, I would ride my bike to work or either jog there as it was only a couple … (33 comments)

tribute: A Tribute to Dan Fogelberg - 12/17/07 08:42 AM
Dan Fogelberg is dead at age 56. I did not know this until Linda Frutal actually said something to me last night during a conversation. It is sad when a musical legend is lost. Two songs can to mind when I heard the news.
The first and foremost that I remember Was Leader of the Band and the second one was Run of the Roses.
It is hard to believe at age 56, he is gone. We will never again here this great artist perform live.
In a tribute to him, I have attached both these songs here for your listening … (15 comments)
