Here is an unofficial list of all home sales during the third quarter of 2009 in Orange Village, Ohio. A summary with a state of the market will follow.
 

 
SUMMARY
Overall, homes sales in Orange in 2009 are similar to those of 2008. In the third quarter of 2009, we had 13 homes sell at an average sales price of $258,531. Last year we had 15 homes sell during the third quarter at an average price of $311,590.

The beginning of the year is traditionally the slowest time of the year in terms of real estate sales here in Northeast Ohio. Typically, there are fewer buyers out during winter months and the serious buyers are those looking for bargains or people relocating to the area.

2008 was a good year for Orange real estate. Having an excellent rated school system and having a limited inventory of homes makes Orange a desirable place to live.
I know what a lot of people are thinking, how could it have been a GOOD year when the media is constantly painting a picture of doom and gloom in the real estate market?
