Sammamish Neighborhoods, Tlingit on Thompson Hill
Located off Thompson Hill Road in Sammamish, Tlingit is a Native North American Term meaning "Human Beings."  Although the Tlingit people didn't inhabit this area, they were further north in British Columbia and Alaska, the term appealed to the developer of this Sammamish Neighborhood perched on Thompson Hill overlooking Lake Sammamish.
Many homeowners in Tlingit enjoy excellent western views.  These higher end homes have been recently priced from the middle $600,000's to well over $1,000,000.  Built primarily from the late 1980's through the 1990's they are positioned to maximize and enjoy Lake Sammamish vistas.

About halfway between Issaquah, the corporate home of Costco and Redmond, Microsoft's Headquarters, on the east side of Lake Sammamish is a street called Louis Thompson Road (Thompson Hill Road for the locals).  Turning east on this road takes you up into a number of different communities offering a variety of homes, styles and affordability.

Tucked away from the main roads in Sammamish, perched on the edge of the Pine Lake Plateau, with some homes overlooking Lake Sammamish is a neighborhood known as Shannonwood.  Built mostly in the early 1980's Shannonwood is a mixture of predominately smaller affordable homes with a few larger ones with western views.

This Pool in the Heritage Hills Neighborhood in Sammamish will be very popular in a few weeks, but isn't ready for prime time just yet.  Covered by both the plastic and tree needles & boughs, someone will have a bit of work getting this ready for Memorial Day when it opens.
