giving: Breakthroughs of Blessings! - 11/16/08 08:23 PM
My wife, son and I have been experiencing overflowing blessings. Let me list some of  them:
(1) I have finished four chapters, so far 172 pages, of my doctoral research project!
(2) I am preparing to do my seminar on identity formation among 18 - 30 year old emerging adults!
(3) My wife, son, brother-in-law, Greg, and sister, Cindy, are helping me!
(4) The public relations director for Stevens-Hanager College wants me to use his room at no cost!
(5) Three professors at a local university have asked me to partner with them on my research project!

giving: A Tribute to My Father on Fathers Day! - 06/13/08 02:57 PM
My father lived to be almost 79.  He was my provider and protector as I grew up and became a man.
He modeled for me how to be strong, loving, caring, kind and giving.  I saw him love my mother for 54 years of marriage.  He taught me how to be faithful and true to my wife.
He always honored and preferred me.  When we were out hunting, he let me have the first or best shot.  He always wanted the best for me and would do anything to help me.

We all have the same needs.
Each one of us needs to feel valued.  As we value ourselves and value others, we experience success!
Someone is looking for YOU right now!  When you meet that new client, will you be the gift with a lift?
Success is not something that you get.  Success is a person! 
You are the success that you don't have to chase!
In the Western world, we have been lulled into a deception that success is about money and power.  We have become a detached "thing-a-fied" nation with more addictions than any nation in the world.

I have taken action on some creative risk-taking ideas during the last week. They have really improved my emotional health. Let me me share them with you.I visited a spring open house for our homeowners association last Sunday afternoon. I met three people who inspired me. One of them asked me to run for the board of directors. I did it and got elected.Then I applied for the volunteer academy at our local police station from a flyer I found at our association open house.
