A lot of Charlotte NC folks come up to our beautiful soutwest Virginia mountains to buy large tracts of land. I've got a short 4 month Listing of a 1940 modernized log & stone house which also has some rental property bringing in $1225 a month. There's a total of 166 acres with 133 wooded acres with nice trails sloping up behind the log house to the top of Rich Mountain. $950,000. 4% commission. 30% referral fee. I've pulled up Charlotte Observer Classifieds online and saw some interesting real estate ads formats. Does anyone have any experience using those ads? Are they effective? One ad offering is strictly online with no printed ads. Does that make more sense with so many people shopping online now? I've cut way back on print advertising here for that reason-even in the rural area I live in. Thanks for your help.
