Seattle, Wash. - January 28, 2011- Dave Poletti is the new president of the King County Chapter for the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). Mr. Poletti replaces Kellie Tollifson from T Square properties who filled this role for 2010.
NARPM is an association of real estate professionals who must have first-hand knowledge of single-family and small residential property management. 30-year fixed mortgage rate hits record low!!!!!
The 30-year fixed mortgage rate on Zillow Mortgage Marketplace is currently 4.58 percent, down nine basis points from 4.67 percent at this same time last week. This is the lowest rate recorded since Zillow Mortgage Marketplace launched during April 2008.
The 30-year fixed mortgage rate peaked Friday at 4.75 percent and fell the same day to below 4.7 percent before decreasing slowly through the weekend. The 30-year rate for Washington is 4.59 percent, which is down 12 basis points compared to last week.

The Built Environment Committee of the Seattle City Council has adopted a proposal that would authorize a mandatory licensing and inspection program throughout the city. The legislation now goes to the full council and will most likely appear on the council's agenda for June 1, 2010. The committee acted today because of the impending deadline on June 10, 2010.
