Where The Mind Leads, Your Actions Will Follow
Have you ever said something and then wondered where that came from - you didn't really mean to say it?Or you take an action, almost without thinking, and then wonder why you did it? 
Our thoughts dictate our actions.  Few of us would disagree, because we have personally experienced it.
(Jesus speaks of this in Matthew 12:33-37 and again in Matthew 15:18-20 discussing that which is "unclean")
And if you have negative thoughts about yourself, your circumstances, or the people around you, those thoughts will eventually lead to negative actions.
