Sonoma County REO Inventory Dries Up - 06/26/12 11:48 AM
I put out a daily REO hotsheet in Sonoma County so my readers can track new listings. There has been so much activity with investors and owner-occupants competing for property that buyers need to be ready to make an offer as soon as an attractive property appears. Putting out this daily housing report keeps me in very close touch with the market. The last four days I have had no new REO listings to report. Speechless Sunday - Blooming Tree - 06/10/12 08:46 AM

Sometimes a tree will stop me dead in my tracks. Sometimes it's the foliage. Sometimes the shape, or a unique texture or coloration on the bark. The tree featured in today's photo was completely loaded with these orchid-like flowers in an extravagant display that I couldn't resist photographing.

Speechless Sunday - Nice Spot for a Nap - 06/03/12 01:43 PM

We toured a new listing in Alexander Valley this week. The owner was on hand making pizzas for his wood-fired pizza oven as we looked over the bocce ball court and the vineyard on the other side of his lawn. My eye was drawn to the hammock, home of one of my favorite outdoor recreations, the summer nap.
