I have often touted the benefit of Indiana home ownership is the tax benefits. Now, I am not a tax professional. Please consult a local tax professional.
Since, the IRS makes it difficult to understand how the benefits actually work.
Indiana Homeowners have two related tax deductions: 1. annual mortgage interest paid 2. estate tax bills paid
However, not every home owner is eligible. There are some exclusion that include amount borrowed, and whether or the home is a main residence or 2nd home. Which is very popular along the Indiana Shoreline.

I was excite to hear this on the news this morning on WIMS am 1420. A new bus service linking, one of the best cities in Northwest Indiana, Valparaiso to Downtown Chicago. This will be a great service to the whole community and it shows what can happen when people work together to achieve a common goal.
With foresight of the traffic gods...The new Chicago Dash bus service from Valpo to Chicago will take place on October 6th with construction delays to the station and other major roadways.

Well, the FNMA 5.5 bond fell through the 200 day moving average floor of support and bounced off the next floor of support. We are still down, but not down enough to warrant a lock her, since the Jobs Report has already came out.

WE have some moderate news coming out this week, and a big one is this Wednesday the 20th and that is the Federal Open Market Committee. It consists of the seven Governors of the Federal Reserve Board and five Federal Reserve Bank presidents. The FOMC meets eight times a year in order to determine the near-term direction of monetary policy and the shanges in any monetary policy are announced immediately after the meeting.

I worked with this couple for 6 months helping them clean up their credit and get their life back in check and we closed on their loan last Thursday. Week in Review: We had a heck of a week in bonds, we got 3 or 4 repricing alerts for the worse, but they ended the week unchanged or up slightly. That has been our week in the mortgage bond market.
After last week's relatively slow economic news, somethings will heat up this week with several events that will have the potential to cause a stir in the market. Wednesday, the Fed will announce their interest rate decision. I think they will not move, but I could be wrong.

GPS Enabled- this is great for google map
Broad-band speeds where available- here in NW Indiana, that covers about everything but the City of LaPorte area. I can plug my phone in my laptop and use it as PAM(phone as a modem). It really is fast enough to down itunes, pictures and movies.
