The Results Could Have Been Catastrophic - 05/30/11 04:19 PM
My wife and I have been married for 43 years. Throughout our years together, we've always cooked on a Gas Stove. We simply enjoy cooking on a Gas Burner! Notice, I said, "We".... I like to cook, too! In fact, I do most of the cooking and the grocery shopping. My wife would tell you she has trained me well!Along with cooking on a Gas Stove, we've always (out of habit I guess) hung the Kitchen Towel on the Over Door handle, just below the Burner Knobs. Again, we have done this throughout our marriage!Last week I was preparing my morning … (6 comments)

Real Estate 101 - When Going House Hunting - 05/15/11 03:42 PM
Someone phoned me some time back indicating they had been referred to me by a previous client. Here is what they shared. They had their preapproval for Mortgage and were ready to begin the search for their next home. In fact, they told me the home finding mission had to happen very fast. In Real Estate we would say, "Time was truly of the Essence". So the question was: "What can you do to make this happen as quickly as possible?" I suggested that perhaps the question should be worded a bit different: "What can WE do to make this happen as … (0 comments)

When we walked in, we were stunned about the days on the market because the house looked wonderful! Northern Virginia Is Absolutely Beautiful - 05/08/11 03:24 PM
On Friday, I posted a blog about our plans to visit an Open House on Mother's Day at the Long Mountain Nursery Azalea Arboretum in Washington, Virginia. In fact, the last two miles are down a one lane winding country road, through farmland, wood and stone fences and some rutted roads! I guess I'm still a country boy at heart and for me, this was a wonderful drive! When we arrived we took about an hour and a half … (0 comments)
