I've written about Wolftrap in Northern Virginia before. We've talked about concerts that are 2nd to none. In fact, we've been able to enjoy concerts from Hawaii, go back in time with groups from 30-50 years ago, enjoy dinner on the ground and so much more.For all of the die hard fans of Wolftrap, it's time to check out this year's calendar. We are all aware that the summer is winding down. I've noticed more parents and children, together in Target and similar stores. Of course the purpose is very clear - Back To School Shopping!I've been endeavoring throughout the summer to keep all of my readers up to date with happenings at Wolftrap. Here is one you have to think about and it is rated - FF - FAMILY FRIENDLY! It is a Sing-A-Long Sound of Music. There is still plenty of time to take in a picnic and concert at Wolftrap this summer. In fact, the calendar is full of top notch entertainment! Casablanca is tonight - July 30th.... Dolly Parton is July 31, Children's Theatre In The Woods unfolds in a few days. Disney in Concert is August 4th and so much more.Remember, lawn seats are much less in price and with that (as I stated earlier in this writing) you can enjoy a picnic while enjoying the Concert. A reminder: Fiddler On The Roof will be at Wolftrap, July 15th-July 17th, 2011. This is certainly one of my favorite shows and the music is awesome. In fact, some of the songs you will hear are: "If I Were A Rich Man," "Matchmaker," "Sunrise, Sunset," and more. Wolftrap writes: "Fiddler follows the story of a poor Jewish milkman, Tevye, and his family of five daughters as they cope with increasingly difficult social and political upheavals that threaten the traditions of the small town." For those of you who are a little bit older, perhaps you will remember some of these songs:"My Girl," "Just My Imagination," "Baby I need Your Loving," "Reach Out, I'll Be There." Even more important, maybe, just maybe you can remember who performed them. You are correct if you guessed The Temptations & The Four Tops.

I've written before that Wolftrap, in Northern Virginia has something for everyone. If you don't like one particular day or week of concerts, look to the next week and you will probably find something you like.

I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing various events with my readers within the Northern Virginia area over the past few weeks. One thing I've endeavored to do is to keep everyone up to date on entertainment taking place at Wolftrap this year.I'm pleased to share that the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra will be at the Feline Center on June 22nd, at 8 pm. The Choir has 360 members and the evening promises a great time for the entire family. I mentioned Wolftrap and the long list of entertainment for this summer in one of my blogs posts a couple of months ago. I know for me and for my wife, there is no where we enjoy going more than Wolftrap.This is a reminder that on the 8th of June, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons will be performing in The Filene Center at Wolf Trap, Vienna, Virginia at 8 pm. The Northern Virginia area is certainly a wonderful part of these United States. Shopping, Entertainment, Great Restaurants, Scenic Drives and more helps this area to remain very popular as a place to visit and live. Here are a couple of suggestions to investigate when visiting or even if you live here: 1) Wolftrap is one of my favorite destinations.
