FHA Loans are popular again!
Today, Home Inspectors are required to be structural Pest Inspectors.
A Structural Pest Inspector identifies wood destroying organisms, insects, rot or conducive conditions.
If your client has an FHA / VA loan, be sure to tell your home inspector at the beginning of the inspection. Most FHA / VA loans require a final pest inspection prior to closing.

Bids for the Duvall project were opened on February 26th and the contract was awarded by Renton City Council on March 17th to low bidder Northwest Cascade, Inc.
Duvall Avenue is expected to close between SR 900 (Sunset Blvd.NE) and SE 95th Way starting in June, and remain closed for approximately a year. The closure allows construction to be completed in the least amount of time and prioritizes safety during construction, minimizing impacts to surrounding neighborhoods.

The repair work started today on the damaged entrance facade located on the NWC of Duvall and NE 6th (close to most of your homes).
The wiring has been mounted on a temporary panel until the facade is rebuilt in the next day or two.  After that, the plan is to hopefully install all of the electrical into steel boxes that will be securely mounted on the back of each facade. Hopefully this will better protect all the metal and wiring from future vandalism and/or metal thieves.
