You have to try the Black Walnut Café at the First Colony Mall in Sugar Land.  Whether it is for breakfast, lunch or dinner, it can not be beat.  Their food is excellent with a great dining atmosphere.  One thing that is unique to them is that they have HUGE comfy chairs.  These chairs are like seats you would have at home.  It is hard to explain without you seeing them.  But, I can tell you it makes the eating experience extremely relaxing.  Check out their Menu, they have burgers, salads, pasta, steak, salmon and the list goes on.  But, my … (0 comments)

Access your Computer Files from anywhere with DropBox.com. Awesome Program!! - 11/16/10 06:45 PM
I recently came across a great website called DropBox.com.  It allows you to access selected files on your computer, no matter where you are via the internet.  The service is free, depending on how much space you need for files.  All you need to do is save the documents into this the DropBox folder.  This is an awesome program.  My biggest fear in life is my computer crashing or getting damaged and I lose my entire business.  This program is great for that.  It also allows you to give permission for other people to access these files.  Which is great if … (1 comments)

Finance the Repairs/Improvements of the home you are buying or own with the FHA 203k Mortgage - 11/08/10 10:39 AM
While few mortgage lenders offer it, FHA has an amazing mortgage program called the 203k.  It allows you to finance the repairs or improvements of the home you are buying or even the home you currently own.  It allows up to $35k in repairs to be financed into your loan and has a minimum of $5k.  Here is a short list of the repairs/improvements that are allowed:
Roofs Gutters Repair and replacement of your HVAC systems, heating and cooling Plumbing and electrical systems Flooring Minor remodeling, ex kitchen Appliances Painting Windows Decks, patios, porches Siding Septic system Items that are not:

Freddie Mac First Look Initiative Gives Homebuyers the first chance on Foreclosures - 11/05/10 02:26 PM
Freddie Mac recently announced the "First Look Initiative" program.  This program is in conjunction with their HomeSteps program.  The advantage to this program is that Freddie Mac allows homebuyers to negotiate to buy a Freddie Mac foreclosure without competition from investors.  For the first 15 days of a listing Freddie Mac will only accept offers from buyers who plan on occupying the home.  For More information check out: First Look Initiative.
