I put these charts together to illustrate what could happen if you continue to wait on the prices to drop 10% but at the same time, interest rates increase 1%.
The first chart depicts purchasing a home now at an interest rate of 5% with 100% financing. With VA home loans in Hawaii for military, 100% financing is still possible.

The Honolulu Board of REALTORS in conjunction with First Hawaiian Bank and the Honolulu Advertiser, announced their 2008 Hawaii Real Estate Awards at the Honolulu Board of REALTORS General Membership Meeting.
There were 2 categories of which real estate agents from Hawaii could be considered. The first award of the 2 categories is "REALTOR of the Year". That award was given to Shelly Campbell of RE/MAX Honolulu.
